Stowmarket (Suffolk) is twinned with the French town of Verneuil-sur-Avre (Normandy).
YOU can also be part of it ....
For over 40 years we have enjoyed a "twinning relationship" with the French town of Vernueil-sur-Avre. Our membership is open to everyone who would like to share in the friendship of our communities and enjoy the benefits this can bring.
We visit each other in alternate years over the Easter holiday and stay with or entertain our hosts. We organise day trips when our friends visit us, but also leave free time to relax and chill as desired.
We are totally autonomous and have an active committee, which puts on social events throughout the year so we keep in touch and raise funds - it also keeps us finely tuned for our "gourmet" visits to the land of wine and cheese!
